I hope you are planning to join us and invite others as we celebrate Easter. Here are some of the details:

Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Called Church Conference

Our Overseer Board is proposing that we spend up to $2,100,000 to invest in upgrades of critical systems in our Worship Center. A Q&A session and vote is scheduled to occur in a Called Church Conference on Sunday, April 13, at 5:00 p.m. in room W-200. This project will include:

  • New window shades
  • The replacement of all lighting (platform and house) with LED fixtures
  • Replacing the sound console and associated equipment

The “why”: Just as the Worship Center has helped us make disciples for the past 20 years, these upgrades will help us make disciples for the next 20 years. Our Worship Center is the space on our campus where the largest amount of people gather. Over the last fiscal year, we averaged 2,001 worshipers on Sunday mornings. It’s also a space where we connect with new people, who then have an opportunity to hear the gospel. For example, our Christmas Presentation drew the most people ever this year – 11,375. We also use our Worship Center to host “bridge” events like high school commencements as well as large conferences and concerts. Functioning equipment, along with high levels of excellence, are important for us to continue to make disciples. To see more information about this potential renovation, please click here.

I hope you will prayerfully consider this recommendation. If you have any questions before the church conference, you can direct them to our Executive Pastor, Andy Johnson, at ajohnson@ingleside.org.

With the affection of Christ,
