At Ingleside, we go with the gospel, crossing cultural boundaries to reach those who have not yet heard the good news of Jesus Christ. We want to make disciples – as many as possible and as mature as possible – here, there, and everywhere.

Some of the ways that we go with the gospel locally are:

Macon Impact

We have an emphasis on local missions and community service in April.

Community Outreach

We have teams who go regularly to share the gospel and serve alongside several local ministries.

Missions Education

We offer monthly classes that prepare disciples to go with the gospel and an annual 15-week study called Perspectives.

National Missions (There)

Some of the ways that we go with the gospel nationally include:

Church Planting

We partner with the North American Mission Board to help plant new churches in strategic cities in the United States. We currently partner with the following church planters:

Dustin Lee, City View Church, Atlanta, Georgia
Josh Cook, Dwell Church, Denver, Colorado
Patrick Grant, Woodstock Community Church, Portland, Oregon

Disaster Relief

We partner with Georgia Baptist Disaster Relief and Send Relief to send teams to help meet physical needs in the name of Christ when disaster strikes in the United States.

International Missions (Everywhere)

We go with the gospel internationally in cooperation with the International Mission Board (IMB). IMB missionaries all over the world request volunteer teams to come and help them by doing specific tasks that further the kingdom of God. In recent years, we’ve sent teams to South America, Europe, Central Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia.

What are the requirements to participate in a mission trip?
- You must be a member of Ingleside
- Attend Missions Orientation (offered monthly)
- Fill out the adult missions application
- Fill out the student missions application
How are mission trips funded?

Ingleside provides partial support for all mission team members, and for people going on a mission trip for the first time, Ingleside covers half of the trip cost. Team members are encouraged to raise financial support from friends and family. If you would like to donate towards the cost of a person’s mission trip, contact Melinda Barlow to receive a giving link.
What about disaster relief?

If you would like to provide financial support, we recommend you do that through Send Relief.
How can I pray for missions?

To be included on mission trip prayer lists, please contact Melinda Barlow. Follow Ingleside Missions on social media to see prayer requests and updates from our mission teams.
What other events are sponsored by the Missions Ministry?

We host an annual Acts 1:8 Missions Conference on the first weekend in November each year. Missionaries and church planters from around the world come to Ingleside to share about God’s heart for the nations and how His kingdom is expanding in other cultures.
