Bible Reading Plans
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction,
and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV
As we read the Bible with humble hearts, God uses his word to help us know him and understand what he has done for us. He also uses it to change, encourage, comfort, challenge, and guide us. Reading the Bible consistently is an important part of our relationship with Jesus.
It is usually helpful to have a Bible reading plan. Below are five different plans that we recommend. Choose one that works for you, and then abide in the word!
One Chapter a Day
Read through the Bible in three years, one chapter each day.
The New Testament in a Year
Read the entire New Testament in a year, five days a week.
Chronological Plan
Read the Bible in a year in chronological order (the order in which recorded events occurred)
Other Resources
Here are two great resources we recommend to help you understand and apply what you read in the Bible!
